Anyway...

The first term nation in the middle ages was used on faculties of Italy to describe students that origin from the same area. It entered the french academic dictionary in the 19 st.
The biggest problem was how to create the sense of collective awareness to the individue. That's when the stories about common history and common faith began. Every newage country created a myth about it's origin and her heroes. Those national stories were praising of it's own nation and most commonly didn't have to do anything with reality but have still entered the nations history. It is important for myths to be told, and therefore live in the mind of the people. Unprecedented and unique national myth connected people into a national identity...
The first modern national state is Portugal, 1640.

I have a dream. In this dream, the European Ultras will ask more about our scene than about our girls.

Is it something like Kosovo and Albania??

Why don't they unite with turkey??

I'm very curious about this, i read somewhere that turk and azer language are similar but never heard that they are same people...
Not very similar with Kosova and Albania I think. We couldn't save Azerbaijan lands in our war against Russia/England/France... Soviet Russia took the land. But when Soviet Russia ended they won their independance.

There are several Turkish countries. Turkey is not the only one. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Türkmenistan, Özbekistan, Kyrgyzstan are some examples.

When our race moved from central asia, it splits into tribes. While Turkey is mixed with these tribes, countries like Azerbaijan has a majority(Oghuz tribe).

The diffrence between the language are like the diffrence between Germany deutsch and Austrian deutsch. Not sound the same but we can understand eachoder.

I hope it is useful. Sorry for the late answer

@Livnjak;
There has been always a small part of the nation who doesn't like Ataturk. It is because of the secular system of Turkey.
Atatürk organised the nation after WW1 against the corrupted Ottoman sultan, English imperialists, Greeks who wanted to have the Aegean parts of Anatolia, Frenchs in South East, Italians in Mediterranean coast, Armenian gangs in East, Greek gangs in Black Sea side etc. He had commanded his army in 10 battles.
And after the victory of Liberation War, he founded the republic. It is interesting that Turkey is the first country who gave rights to the woman for voting and getting elected in the Europe. When you compare it with the other Muslim countries it is extraordinary. Some kind of radical religious people do not like him because of these revolutions.
But %90 percent of the Turkish people adore him. Yesterday was the 75th anniversary of his death and 1 million people went to visit his grave.
In this video, which is from yesterday, you see 6.5 km of people showing their respect to him in 09.05 in the morning, which is the time he leaved us 75 years ago.

It is obvious that there is no other national leader who had been loved this much. It has been 75 years, although if it was 750 years Turkish people would love and respect him just like today.
We love Fenerbahçe more than anything in this world. That's all.

My point of view, it will be better if those pests stay in Germany. People doesn't like Ataturk define theirselves more like "islam" or "human" not Turk. Turks(!) love their father.
